In accordance with the federal Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA), as amended, each postsecondary institution that participates in the Title IV federal student aid programs is required to post a net price calculator on its website that uses institutional data to provide estimated net price information to current and prospective students and their families based on a student’s individual circumstances.
The links below allow students to calculate an estimated net price of attendance (defined as cost of attendance minus federal, state, and institutional grant and scholarship aid) for the academic year (fall and spring) based on what similar students paid in the previous year at that campus. The cost of attendance includes estimates for full-time tuition, mandatory fees, books and supplies, room and board, transportation, and personal expenses. (Students living with family are assumed to have zero room and board costs.) After using one of the net price calculator links below, the results reflect estimated net costs to first-year, first-time, full-time degree- or certificate-seeking undergraduates after subtracting the median amount of federal, state, and IU scholarships and grants awarded to similar students. Each link below tailors the results to the student’s residency status, housing location, dependency status as defined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and family income and size.
The regional campus calculator links below will be refreshed with the prior year’s data annually in February. (Users may need to enable JavaScript in their browser to view the calculators linked below. For help with this, see the browser tips below.)
Note that the Net Price Calculators for Bloomington and IUPUI can be found on the following campus websites with federally required disclosures, under general institutional information:
