University Enrollment Services (UES) supports the academic and student services missions of Indiana University by coordinating and managing university-wide operations in admissions, financial aid, student records, access administration, and veteran’s affairs.
UES also performs university-wide operations in the areas of information security, data administration, operational support, reporting, internal controls, academic policy implementation, and compliance. UES leads Student Shared Services to enhance customer service, implement best practices, and reduce operating costs in campus and university offices in the areas of admissions, financial aid, student records, veteran’s services, access administration.

Admissions Shared Services supports all IU Domestic Undergraduate Admissions offices by performing data processing under the Shared Services model. The shared services team works in support of the recruitment goals of each campus by ensuring timely and accurate processing of undergraduate admission applications and associated documents.

The Office of Student Data Management & Access provides the shared services of assigning access to UES enterprise systems and reports for employees across all campuses, evaluating data requests from internal and external organizations, identifying and enforcing training and compliance requirements for accessing systems containing student data, and ensuring the privacy rights and protections afforded by FERPA are upheld for all Indiana University students.

The University Military and Veterans Services Coordinator oversees compliance with US Departments of Veterans Affairs and Defense regulations related to education benefits. The Coordinator provides advice to IU administrators on military and veteran student education issues, shares student services best practices among IU campuses, and facilitates training for IU staff members on military and veteran education programs.
