The Advising Records system is the first enterprise solution offered specifically for Academic Advising. AdRx was designed to promote more efficient faculty and professional advising for all students on the Indiana University campuses. This tool allows users to reach all pertinent advising resources in one place. Effective use of this advising system improves advising as a practice, facilitates strengthened relationships with students, and reduces confusion and mistakes in the management of academic affairs.
ARMS is the acronym for Access Request Management System. It is the system used by Access Coordinators and Data Managers to add/modify/remove a user's SIS access.
Tableau provides services for Indiana University's Business Intelligence environment providing visual analytics and web tools to create reports. The toolset and server platform can be used to create dashboards and apply various analytical techniques on our core data assets.
CARMin is the acronym for Course Approval and Remonstrance, and is an automated system used for adding new class offerings and updating existing class offerings into PeopleSoft. It allows for public academic review and comment (remonstrance) and serves as the mechanism for capturing course descriptions, which ties into SIS advising and registration systems. COMPASS is the acronym for the Consolidated Method for Processing Applications and Student Scholarships. It is an online system created to handle the application and administration of scholarships granted to Indiana University students. There are three separate functional methods for processing scholarships through Compass: Automatic Awards, the SSA (Selective Scholarship Application – applications pushed out to a select group of elite students), and the CWA (Campus Wide Application – student initiated applications). Talisma is a constituent relationship management (CRM) platform for managing data and communications across the entire university. That strategy and vision has evolved into something now known as "Lifetime Engagement", allowing IU to more effectively manage relationships with prospects, students, alumni, and other constituents. The result is an improved ability to coordinate and target communications, delivering relevant information to constituents via channels they prefer.

eGC (eGrade Change)
Workflow action that allows instructors listed in the Schedule of Classes to submit grade changes electronically. Because this is such a powerful action, certain approval criteria, given through the Office of the Registrar, are required before access is granted.

The Indiana University Information Environment (IUIE) is a centrally maintained, enterprise-wide, web-based decision support application and reporting environment. It provides a collection of reports, tools, and information to assist the university in providing access to institutional data. OnBase is a document management system in use by multiple departments within the university. It allows the scanning, storage, and retrieval of paper documents as well as the importing and retrieval of other types of files (Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PDF documents).
The Student Success Collaborative (SSC) program combines technology, research, process improvement, and predictive analytics to help positively impact student success, particularly with those students who are off-track in their progress toward graduation.
