Graduate and Professional Education Placement for Bachelor's Degree Recipients

2020-21 through 2022-23

IU Logo

The Higher Education Opportunity Act (HEOA) requires institutions to disclose the percentage of recent bachelor's degree recipients who pursued further education at the graduate or professional level. These views are derived from matching the 2020-21 through 2022-23 bachelor's degree graduates with internal data sources and with the use of the National Student Clearinghouse Student Tracker Service (NSCSTS). These graduates were tracked through the spring of 2023 to identify advanced degree placement.

The data below reference the bachelor's degree recipients who enrolled in, or received additional credentials from graduate or professional programs beyond their bachelor's degree. The "Areas of Graduate/Professional Study" depict the broad disciplines of these educational pursuits, but this information is only available for students pursuing graduate study at a campus in the IU system. Disciplines with less than 10 instances and records where a credential or enrollment could not be defined are grouped as ‘Unknown.'
